A few years ago my wife and I started brewing our own beer, using Coopers concentrates and malts. Some have turned out particularly well, so I thought I’d document them here.
Brewed with a can of Coopers India Pale Ale concentrate and a can of their Amber Malt Extract. Fermented for a fortnight, then bottle conditioned using two No-Doz tablets in place of carbonation drops. Each pint is roughly equivalent to two strong cups of coffee!
Brewed with a can of Coopers Ginger Beer concentrate as per recipe, plus ginger root boiled in the wort, a dollop of golden syrup, and a large cinnamon quill. Fermented for a month, then bottle conditioned for a month.
