Yet another styling change

You might notice a few changes to my personal site today. Specifically:

  1. I’ve fixed a few minor HTML issues that were causing the W3C HTML Validator to raise errors.
  2. I’ve removed some deprecated CSS that was causing the W3C CSS Validator to raise warnings.
  3. Finally, in addition to the W3C logos, the footer has gained a 100% Mothra Compatible icon :)

The first two changes were for site hygiene; the third is because I’ve started trying out the 9front fork of the Plan 9 operating system.

My site rendered badly in Netsurf, and illegibly in the default Mothra browser. Now, it’s a thing of beauty, as you can see from the screenshot below of 9front running in QEMU (as per the excellent documentation).
